Hello, I’m Rodney L. Johnson. Since I was a child, I have had a passion for love and romance. My sincere desire while blogging is to share, empower, and enlighten by my life lessons, observations, and research on love and relationships. While teaching as a Christian education superintendent for 24 years, I had the opportunity to counsel couples and individuals concerning their relationship challenges.
Also, being part of the Los Angeles Harbor Department Speakers Bureau for two years gave me a chance to encourage junior high and high school students to weigh their relationship decisions early in life.
But my burden to assist people in a broader audience happened during my time hosting a relationship talk show called “LoveScapes” on www.KTTERadio.com; a Jazz Music internet radio station at the time. While hosting the show with my cohost, I conducted many surveys and had many group sessions with men and women. It became very apparent that Christian or not, many people like myself who had entered into relationships were misinformed and unprepared to succeed. My belief is, when we learn to love better, we have an opportunity to live better!
With 25 years of marriage experience; I have been blessed to have three beautiful daughters, a handsome son who is the youngest, two sons-in-law, and my lively grandchildren.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, photography, movies, stage plays, casual cycling, and being outdoors. Because the Lord is good to me, I gratefully attend Christian worship services regularly.
